Hero Cards and The Grateful Nation Project

The mission of Hero Cards and the Grateful Nation Project is to honor the sacrifices made by every member of the U.S. military—from the Revolutionary War to the present day—who lost their life while serving our country. I am creating a Hero Card for every fallen service member, and a permanent online archive to preserve each of their stories for future generations. Through the Grateful Nation Project, we’re bringing these Heroes’ stories to students across the country.

Fulfillment of that mission involves working with the families of the fallen, researching and verifying the heroes’ story details, writing a compelling and truthful narrative, digital restoration of damaged photos, creating original artwork for heroes who have no photographic record, designing and developing the Hero Cards website, and managing all production aspects of the Hero Cards.
